Gen at the DC Waterfront

Having fun at the waterfront! Gen was lit using ambient light coming from strip light under the steps in front of her. I love the warm glow it gives her skin.

This is what happens when you have a spectacular model and a photographer with serious skills, who can make the most of her.

I'd like to add that I think the bracelets on her left wrist add a much-needed element to the composition. What a great way to anchor the bottom right corner of the frame! When I try to envision the image with no bracelets, it just isn't nearly as well balanced.

Just realized I never replied to this. My apologies. Thank you so much for your comments and thanks you for believing in my skills. I am still learning!

I would not have thought about her bracelet anchoring the frame, I'll have to keep little things like that in mind. She wore it on her own, chose her own outfit and did her own make makeup.

Is there anywhere online where we can go to see more of Jen? Does she have a profile on Instagram, or a website of her own, where she promotes herself as a model? I would love to see her portfolio.

Hey, Tom. Just got her modeling and dancing IG.

To really get the full effect you have to zoom in. You are literally reflected in her eyes.

Thank you for your rating! I've often debated on and off if that was a good thing or not. I don't think it's bad necessarily but I wonder what others think.

beautiful - background and subject work together seamlessly, beautiful lighting and perfectly captured the serenity and confidence in her look.
