Laguna Verde

Laguna Verde is located in the Andes of Bolivia. The vibrant greenish color of the lagoon is best visible when it is windy. During my first visit early in the morning I had a reflection in the water but the colors were much more subdued. This time it was late in the day and in the Atacama desert it is common to be windy later in the day. The white material on the surface is borax a mineral quite common in the area.
