The "Night of the Witches" event - is lit in the spirit of old traditions with great fires that destroy all the dark magical forces of winter discomfort and welcome the coming season of warm abundance and fertility. The burning of witches and the symbolic ghostly procession bring the long-loved traditional atmosphere of the magical night from April 30 to May 1.
