Northern Symphony

Aurora over a small village in the very north of Norway. This is a stack of a drone pano for the land and a single frame for the sky. The land pano was taken in the evening, and the aurora a couple hours north of that location at night. The sky was uninteresting in the evening when I took the drone pano, but the location is one I've dreamed of seeing for years. Thanks to sheer luck I was able to get a shot of the aurora -- I just saw it happening in the sky, pulled the car over, and started shooting. I really wanted to use these shots somehow, but the foreground was terrible and a photo of the aurora without a proper composition is not really that interesting. So, it made sense to take the two most impressive things from my trip to northern Norway in Winter and combine them into one image.
